We are Never Alone
Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
John 14:23
We love the Father and the Son and we obey his teaching from the Word, and the Father and the Son are always with us. Christ guides us through the Spirit down the Narrow Road to our eternal home, and the purpose of this life is to travel down the Narrow Road and bring others with us.
Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. (John 15:5) We need Christ with us because he guides us to minister to others, and He knows what scriptures thst person needs to hear. As children of God, our most important calling in this life is to bear fruit, bringing people to Christ.
Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me. (John 12:26) We serve the Lord as He guides us to bring people to Christ, and that is the most fulfilling thing we can do in this life, because God created us to be a light for Christ.
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10) We need Christ with us, because he not only guides us, he gives us his strength and we are in his righteous right hand. There is nothing that Satan can do in our life, that the power from Christ will enable us to overcome.
For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. (1 John 5:4-5) God gives power to overcome the world, and overcome Satan’s evil temptations. Christians can live this life with victory in Christ, to our last breath.
Today depend on the Lord and know he is with you, and He will guide through the day. The Lord gives us total control of our thoughts, words, and actions; and we walk with the Lord with his divine love and wisdom.
Prayer: Lord, remind me that you are always with me, and enable me to serve you with a heart of love. In Jesus name, Amen
