Walk with Christ

Posted on

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Colossians 2:6-7

The best life we can ever live is when we walk with Christ, who guides us through everything we encounter. Christ is willing to guide us through each day of life, with his divine love, power, strength, and wisdom, which is infinitely above our love, power, strength, and wisdom. We are truly blessed that God is guiding us through life.

In order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. (Romans 8:4) Christ guides through the Spirit by placing thoughts in our minds, and the more we know the Word the more we can receive the thoughts from Christ. The Word is the language of God, and the more we know the language the more we understand the Lord, because every step of guidance agrees with Word.

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. (Psalm 46:10) Be still means we control our thought, and live with peace, so we can receive the thoughts from Christ; because if we rush through life with worldly thoughts, we will most likely hear nothing from Christ. When we ask the Lord and he places his thoughts to us through the Spirit, it is a blessing because God is talking to us.

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10) Christ and the Father are always with us, and they are willing to help us through life, and to be a light on hill for Christ. They will give us their love, wisdom, and courage to become the person we are created to be. And if we become the person we are created to be, we will live the best live possible on this earth.

Today walk with Christ, and be still inside with patience. Study the Word, the language of God, because it helps greatly in being guided by Christ.

Prayer: Lord guide me through each day, and help be to be still inside with patience. In Jesus name, Amen
