God is With Us

Posted on

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.

Joshua 1:9

We can depend on the Lord being with us all times, and we can always feel secure. We always ask for the Lord to be with us, because we need his divine guidance, especially when we are ministering to others.

But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him. (1 Corinthians 6:17) When we seek to be close to the Lord and need his divine guidance, then we can be one on spirit with Christ. We can be as close to Christ as we desire, and we ask Christ to be with us. There nothing greater in life than to have Christ with us, guiding us through life.

Now may the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with you all! (2 Thessalonians 3:16) When the Lord is with us, we have divine peace, and that brings us comfort and patience. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) In Addition to peace, Christ and the Word never change, and the blessing from God that feeds our soul, get stronger the closer we are to Christ. Everything in the world is temporary and changing, but things from God are perfect and last forever.

If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. (Galatians 5:25) Christians are guided by Christ through the Spirit. Through the Word and through the Spirit we walk with Christ, and we have nothing to fear, because Heaven is our home. In the evil world Christians are being killed but great is their reward in Heaven. Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28) Our soul lives forever with a new body that never ages, and Heaven is our home. We are guided by Christ and he guides our eternal soul to Heaven.

Today ask the Lord to be with you, and seek his divine guidance. Know the Word because it is the language of God, and Christ always guides with agreement with the Word.

Prayer: Lord guide through this day, and guide me to fully understand the Word. Fill my heart with your love as I seek to minister to lost souls. In Jesus Name, Amen
