The Power of Christ

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Ephesians 3:20-21

Christ knows our future for each day and he will guide us with His power to handle any situation we encounter. That is why we always ask for the Lord to guide us through each day, because we depend on Christ to get us through each day.

Christ guides us through the Spirit by placing thoughts in our minds, and the more we know the Word the more we will know the thoughts from Christ, because the Word is the language of God. For You are my rock and my fortress; For Your name’s sake You will lead me and guide me. (Psalm 31:3) It’s a blessing to have Christ lead us each day to overcome the world, and the more we depend on Christ the closer relationship we have with Him.

Make me walk in the path of Your commandments, For I delight in it. (Psalm 119:35) The more we know the Word, the more we will walk in agreement with Christ. The Word can guide us, but Christ is with us to help us overcome anything Satan puts in our path. When we walk, depending on Christ being with us, we have the power of Christ with us. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, (Ephesians 3:20) Christians go through life with Christ, and have the power of Christ with them.

Christ has total power over Satan and his demons, and when we call on Christ, Satan will flee. We remember that with Christ we have divine power over Satan, and we can live in victory. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:57) When we call on Christ, we can be guaranteed victory, because Christ has total authority over Satan.

Jesus said to him, If you can believe? All things are possible for one who believes. (Mark 9:23) We can have the power of Christ in our life, if we have faith that pleases God. If we have doubt in our faith it shows that our relationship with the Father and the Son is weak. We pray that our faith is pleasing to God.

Today live with the power of Christ,; ask for his power, and ask for his glory. When we live with the power and love of Christ, we live secure and confident.

Prayer: Help me to always depend on Christ for his divine power, and to always use his power for your glory. In Jesus name, Amen
