Christians are Never Alone

Posted on

Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.

John 14:23

The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are always with a Christian, so we have the love and the power of God with us. It’s is amazing that God is always with us, and guiding us through life to Heaven. We remember that God is with us in every situation and we depend on Him for every breath we take.

We need the presence of God with us, but we also need relationships. The Lord God said, “it is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him,” (Genesis 2:18). God created Eve as a wife for Adam, and they started the first family. We are created for relationships with family and with our church family, and that is why Christ established his church and calls us to fellowship. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts, (Colossians 3:16). Strong relationships occur within our Christian family and with close friends in the church, because we are all connected by the Spirit.

The Lord recognizes we need time alone with God the Father and with Christ, just as Jesus got alone with Father and prayed. We can clear our mind of worldly problems, and focus on God and His Word. The more alone time we spend praying, the more we know Christ is with us.

Since we know Christ is with us and we have a divine purpose, and we will depend on Christ in everything to fulfill our purpose in this earthly life. We can attend Bible studies, teach a Bible class, mission trips, send cards, praying for others, and many more ministries; and we pray for the Lord to open doors in our ministry. When we minister to others, reflecting Gods love, our heart opens to receive more of God’s love. God created us to be a light in this world and that is why serving the Lord makes us feel more fulfilled, more peace, more confident, more loved, and more relaxed.

We never feel alone because God fills our heart with His divine love. This love from God also comes from our close Christian friends. Without the love of God in our heart, there will always be an emptiness in our soul, and nothing in the world can fulfill an empty soul. The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you–they are full of the Spirit and life. (Luke 6:63) Only God can bring life to our soul.

Today know that only God can fill an empty soul., with his love and his presence. The more we pray and commune with the Lord, the more we know his presence.

Prayer: Lord, keep me from ever being lonely, and to always be sustained by your love and the divine purpose for my life. Help me to remain close to you and to feel your presence today. In Jesus name, Amen
