The Blessing of Faith

Posted on

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Galatians 6:9

We always reflect Christ in our life, and we have patience on waiting for the Lord to answer our prayers. We cannot always understand the Lord’s way, but we have faith in His divine ways, because we know His ways are always best.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6) We always trust the Lord’s will over our will, because he is God and he knows us better than we know ourselves. We trust God’s ways because we know his perfect love for us, and how he protects us for eternal life. God is pleased when we truly trust his ways over our ways, because it shows that we know God.

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Hebrews 11:6) It is important that our faith is pleasing to God and we are not the best judge of our faith. We pray that our faith is pleasing to God; if not we ask him to change us to make our faith pleasing. It may take time, because our faith is based on a close relationship with God the Father and with Christ.

The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. (Psalm 28:7) We can always trust the Lord because no one loves us more than Christ, and all things are possible for God. Nothing will take us away from Christ and there nothing in our life that Christ will carry us through.

When our faith is pleasing to God, we will have great security and great peace, because Heaven is our home. There is nothing better than having a great relationship with Christ, because he will always be with us and guide us through life to Heaven, and we will always trust his ways.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1) We serve the Lord being a light in the world and Christ sets us free from the sinful world, and it is the most fulfilling life because that is the way God created us. When we live for Christ, the blessings are beyond words and we are content no what circumstances we are enduring.

Today make your faith pleasing to God, by trusting Him in all situations, because he always knows best.

Prayer: Lord I pray my faith is pleasing to you, and I will trust your ways over my ways. In Jesus name, Amen
