The Lord Knows Us

Posted on

You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.

Psalm 139:3

The Lord knows us better than we know ourselves, and he knows exactly what we need in this life. He is always for us and wants to guide us down the narrow road to Heaven. No one on this planet loves and care for us more than Christ, and he has given us everything we need to be with Him in Heaven.

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. (Jeremiah 1:5) God created us and we all have a divine purpose in this life. We pray so our life for Christ, with the talents he has given us; and we experience the most fulfilling life we can ever live on this earth.

We are a prophet to the nations, which means we are a light for Christ where ever to go. We pray for what the Lord’s guidance, so we can be more like Christ, so we become the person God created us to be. We should always be thankful that Christ knows us better that we know ourselves, and he is always with us.

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. (1 John 4:16) No matter what life the Lord has for us, we will fill our hearts with his divine love. A heart of love makes all the Lord’s commands natural to us, and love changes our heart so we care about others. And the more we care and bring others to Christ, the more love God puts in our hearts.

The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing. (Zephaniah 3:17) It’s a great blessing that the Lord knows us because he rejoices over us with his love and his blessings. We should be thankful to the Lord many times each day, because he is always with us and helps us through life.

Today be thankful that the Lord knows us and guides us through life into Heaven.

Prayer: Help me through the day, to be a light in this world reflecting your love to everyone. In Jesus name, Amen.
