Alive in Christ
But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.
Ephesians 2:4-5
There is no life on this earth that compares to the life with Christ. Through the Holy Spirit we are connected to Christ and he is always with us; and we now have divine life in our spirit.
Our God is not a God far away, He is within us and knows us better than we know ourselves, and he knows exactly what we need. We are being molded to the mind and heart of Jesus, as Christ guides us through life to be the person God created us to be. And when we become the person that God created, we will be alive with Christ, which is the life that God wants us to live.
And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:6-7) When are alive in Christ, and God sees us raised us up and seated in the Heavenly realms, even though we are still living on earth. Christ knows our future and he guides us through anything we go through in life.
Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. (Romans 8:5) We are alive with Christ because we live by the Spirit, which means everything we hear, see, say, and think, comes from the Spirit. If we pray for God’s help in living by the Spirit, and we strive to live by the Spirit; then with God’s help we will be victorious.
But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved. (Ephesians 2:4-5) God has made us alive in Christ, and there is no life on earth that compares to being alive in Christ; and we know Heaven is our eternal home.
Today be alive in Christ, and be a light for Christ wherever you go. When we are alive in Christ, we reflect a loving kind heart to everyone.
