Life for Your Spirit

Posted on

Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances. You will live in the land that I gave to your forefathers; so you will be My people, and I will be your God.

Ezekiel 36:26-28

Our spirit is alive because the Lord made it possible by putting his Spirit in us. We receive the Holy Spirit when we are baptized, and we are now connected to the Father and to Christ. If we live to be guided by Christ, then we are God’s people.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! (2 Corinthians 5:17) When we have the Holy Spirit, we are a new creation, living by the fruit of the Spirit. We take on a new character that helps other and tell them about salvation in Christ. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23)

With the Spirit of God within us, we are now living the life that God created us to live. Our life changes to the life God created us to live; our life is now helping others and telling them about salvation in Christ. We hurt for lost souls and we pray for the Lord’s guidance to tell others about Christ. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. (Matthew 5:14)

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. (Acts 1:8) We receive the Lord’s power through the Holy Spirit, and we are motivated to bring people to Christ, because many people never thank about there eternal life. Christians everyday think about eternal life and we seek to tell others that we all face eternity; after we finish the short earthly life. We are alive in the spirit; and our eternal destination in our choice, we serve Christ or we serve Satan, that is the only choices we have.

Today thank about eternity and know we all face judgment by God. We all need the Holy Spirit, a church family, study the Word, pray, and helping others.

Prayer: Guide me to live by the fruit of the Spirit and help others and tell them about Christ. In Jesus name, Amen
