The Lord is with Us and Guides Us
The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
Deuteronomy 31:8
We can always depend on the Lord being with us and guiding us through the day if we seek to serve Him with faith. The more we live for Christ the more we can depend on him in every circumstance. What could be better than having Christ with us, guiding us with his divine knowledge, power, and love.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6) When we trust the Lord’s will over our will, we will live with the divine blessings from the Lord. He will guide us with his love, power, and knowledge, and we overcome anything Satan places in our path. The Lord is with us, and if we trust him, we live in victory over Satan and over the sinful world.
I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:11-13) The apostle Paul suffered for Christ, but he was content in every situation, because the power of Christ fed his soul with continuous contentment. All things are possible for God, and that is true in our life.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:1) God promises to be with us, strengthen us, and hold us in his righteous right hand. When we fully trust the Lord, we will be living in his divine power, to overcome the world, overcome Satan, and overcome fear; because we know Heaven is our home. The greatest security we can have, is knowing our home is Heaven and being with the Father and to Son.
Today know the Lord is with you, and ask for his love, strength, and guidance. Having God guiding us through life, is a blessing beyond words.
Prayer: Help me to always know Christ is with me, and always seeking His divine guidance. Keep me calm and help me live with peace and joy. In Jesus name, Amen
