The Holy Spirit

Posted on

You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.

Romans 8:9

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever. (John 14:16) The Holy Spirit is always with us and guides us through life, by keeping us on the narrow road to Heaven. The Spirit convicts us when our thoughts and actions are leading us to sin.

Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? (1 Corinthians 3:16) The Holy Spirit of God lives within us therefore our body is a temple. We take care of our body because we need our body to live on earth and serve Christ.

But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you everything I have said to you. (John 14:26) The Spirit of God help us to understand and to memorize the scriptures, especially when we are ministering to someone. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. (1 Corinthians 2:11) The Spirit helps to better understand God and Christ, as they guide us through life to Heaven.

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. (John16:13) The Spirit guides us in the truth from the Word of God, and prepares us from what is to come in the future.
Every Christian gets baptized and receives the Holy Spirit., and the Holy Spirit connects us to Christ. The guidance from Christ and from God, come to us through the Spirit. Christ gives us strength and courage to endure the difficulties of life, and he gives the words when we are ministering to people.

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalm 46:10) We must be still inside and have patience to hear Christ putting thoughts in our minds. If we are in hurry and thinking of worldly things at a mentally fast pace, we may never hear Christ or the Spirit.

Today live at a relaxed mental state and commune with Christ, and seek to hear the Spirit.

Prayer: Lord, help me to think on things above and to be still and relaxed today. And help me to be guided by the Spirit. In Jesus name, Amen
