We All Face Judgment

Posted on

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

2 Corinthians 5:10

When are body dies our soul and spirit lives forever, and when Christ returns, we get a new younger body that never ages and has no pain; and we live for eternity. And after we die, we all face judgment.

For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) The dead will rise first, with their soul and spirit; then all that are live and serve Christ will meet the Lord in the air, and we will be with the Lord forever in Heaven.

I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve. (Jeremiah 17:10) The Lord knows our every thought from our mind and heart, and we are judged according to our deeds while living on earth. Christians are guided by the Holy Spirit that lives in the believer, and by Christ through the Spirit.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. (2 Timothy 4:7-8) Every Christian is in a spiritual battle, but with the divine power from the Lord, we can live with victory. It’s through faith in Christ that we overcome Satan’s evil temptations. And Christians are motivated to serve the Lord because he leads us down the narrow road to our Heavenly home.

Today continue down the narrow road to Heaven, guided by the Word and by Christ.

Prayer: Lord, lead me through life to my Heavenly home. In Jesus name, Amen
