The Father and Son are With Us
Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.
John 14:23
We are never alone because the Father and Son are with us, and the Holy Spirit lives in us. The more we commune with the Lord and read his Word, and obey his will, the more we will experience his presences with us.
Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts, (Colossians 3:16). The more we study the Word the closer we will be to Christ, because it is the language of God. Relationships occur within our earthly Christian family, because we are connected by the Holy Spirit and the Word.
The Lord recognizes we need time alone so we can clear our mind of worldly problems, and be with God and his Word. The more time we spend with the Lord, the closer we are to him, and we are living life to the full. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10) Only Christ can give us life to the full, which means Christ provides all our needs.
We are created to be guided by the Spirit who leads us in ministering to others. We can attend church Bible studies, teach a Bible class, mission trips, send cards, and praying for others. God created us to be light in this world and that is why serving the Lord we feel more fulfilled, more confident, more loved, and we have more joy in life.
Today know that the Father and the Son are with you through the Holy Spirit. Build and closer relationship with Christ, through prayer, the Word, and with being with other Christians.
