The Divine Revealer

However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”—the things God has prepared for those who love him—these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.

1 Corinthians 2:9-10

Through the Spirit we have an understanding of what the Lord has prepared for us in this life. We learn from the promises in scripture how the Lord blesses us as we continue serving him, and we are motivated to search for open doors to serve. Open doors to help others, such as those in nursing homes, those who are moving, financial help, teaching a class, attending Bible classes, and the list is endless. The Spirit will put on our hearts what the Lord has called us to do, if we are listening and searching.

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:13) We seek the Lord and we will find him if we have a heart for serving the Lord. We are close to the Lord when we are ministering to others and teaching them the good news about Christ. The more of the Lord’s love we reflect to others, the more love we have in our hearts moving us closer to the Lord. It’s reflecting the love that is in our hearts that brings us closer to the Lord. If we continue to follow the Spirit, he will bring us closer to the Lord.

The Spirit will guide us and reveal to us what life is like when we live as Jesus lived. Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did. (1 John 2:6) God molds us to the image of his Son so we can have the same love and compassion as Jesus. The Spirit guides us to be Christ-like which changes our heart to serve God and others. This is the ultimate life and the only freedom that exists in this world — freedom through Christ.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1) Christ guides us through the Spirit to all truth, freeing us from bondage to the world, a world believing in Satan’s lies. The Spirit guides us to live by God’s truth, and the truth enables us to overcome Satan’s lies. If we don’t know God’s truth, we will live by Satan’s lies — there is no other choice.

Today, live by the Spirit as he guides your conscious into all truth. Let the Spirit guide you into the future as he directs you to search for opportunities to bring Christ to lost souls. If our minds are on serving, Christ will guide us through the Spirit.

Prayer: Lord, guide me today by the Spirit because the Spirit knows what will happen today and I pray I live according to your will. Help me to be motivated to serve you, bringing the good news of Christ to lost souls. In Jesus name, Amen
