Satan – Our Enemy

Posted on

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Ephesians 6:12

Our enemy is Satan and his demons, who tempt people with his lies and deceptions. Many people never read and study the Word of God, so don’t know the Truth, and they believe Satan’s lies.

In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. (Ephesians 4:26-27) Christians love every one on the planet because everyone is created in the image of God. Out hatred is sin which comes from Satan and his demons, who knows our weaknesses; and tempt our emotions causing us to sin. We have to be very careful with our thoughts and emotions, because Satan tempts us at the most opportune time.

Jesus said to him, You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ (Mark 22:37-39) A Christians heart is filled with God’s love, but our hatred goes to Satan and his evil. It can be easy to hate the person whose life is evil, but the hatred goes to Satan. Jesus forgave the ones who crucified him, and we have the same forgiving heart.

Our enemy is Satan who is always tempting us to sin, and he tempts us at our most vulnerable time. We cannot desire sin and fight sin at the same time, that is why we fight Satan through the power of Christ. It is easier to fight Satan as our enemy that to fight self. For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory. (Deuteronomy 20:4) We always fight sin with power of Christ and we live in victory.

Today live in victory over Satan with the divine power of Christ., and call on Christ immediately when Satan attacks.

Prayer: Help me fight Satan and his evil with the divine power of Christ. In Jesus name, Amen
