Road to Heaven

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Matthew 7:13-14.

The Narrow Road is the road to Heaven, and to travel the narrow road requires a church family, read and obey the Word of God, and be light for Christ in this world. Satan is always tempting Christians to exit the narrow of life to the wide road of destruction. He is filling the world with his evil in an effort to destroy God’s people with his lies.

The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. (1 Timothy 4:1) As the world gets increasing evil in the last days, Satan and his demons will deceive people, causing them to exit the narrow road.

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. (2 Timothy 4:3) Sometimes the teacher is our self, and we listen to what our itching ears are telling us.

The Word tells us to put the Lord first because if we don’t we can be led astray by those close to us. We seek to obey the Lord as we are told in his Word, and we let nothing or nobody on the planet lead us astray. You shall have no other gods before me. (Exodus 20:3) Sometimes those close to us can lead us astray and we don’t even realize it. Our salvation depends only on our self and no one else. We are to be closer to the Lord than anyone or anything in this life, because this enables us have more love and the power of God to care for our family and minister to others.

There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day. (John 12:48) Our eternal life is based on living as given in in the Word of God, because we are judged by the Word.

We see today Christians persecuted and killed, and churches becoming less holy and more worldly. We are in a prime time to bring Christ to people because many are searching. If we spend our efforts pointing people to Christ, it will motivate us to overcome Satan’s evil because the Lord’s gives us his power and courage to endure whatever happens in our life.

Today, live for Christ and stay on the narrow road. Keep Satan from pulling people away by ministering to souls and telling them closer to the Lord

Prayer: Lord, give me your strength to stay on the narrow road of life, and to help others stay on the narrow roadIn Jesus name, Amen
