Life is a Mist
You do not even know what will happen tomorrow! What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
James 4:14
Our life is a mist which means our life on earth is a short life; and our purpose during this life is to get right with God. Our purpose is to have a church family, read and obey the Word of God, and pray. We are created to walk with other Christians down the narrow road to Heaven alone.
God established the Church because we need the support and love from other Christians; and we give support to love to everyone. But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. (Matthew 44-48) We love everyone on the planet with a heart of God’s love, because there is no room in our heart for hate; except the hate of sin.
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. (1 John 4:8-12) God loves everyone on the planet, because everyone is created in his image. We show kindness to everyone with God loves, because it leaves a door open for people to attend Church and start reading the Word of God.
Today get right with God because no one is promised tomorrow.
Prayer: Lord, help me to be closer to God and show kindness to everyone. In Jesus name, Amen
