Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

Ephesians 4:2

Patient is fruit of the scripture, and did read about Jesus being in a hurry? How can we be humble and gentle without patience? There are many people that are always in a hurry; although God created us to live with patience. Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! (Psalm 46:10)

With a heart of love, a Christian is more concerned about others and they minister to almost everyone. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:30-31) This is the greatness command, because with a heart of love all the commands become natural and desirable.

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. (Romans 12:12) We rejoice because our home is in Heaven, and tribulation comes, and we are patient as Christ carries us through. Constant in prayer implies that we talk to God throughout our day, because is what we are created to do. We depend on Christ for everything, otherwise our faith is weak.

A hot-tempered person stirs up conflict, but the one who is patient calms a quarrel. (Proverbs 15:18) We are patient with other people, otherwise we might have a quarrel. A patient person chooses his words wisely to avoid a quarrel. To be patient in our words and our life, we must be still inside and not let our emotions control us.

Today seek to be patience, and seek to stay relaxed in everything.

Prayer: Lord, enable me to be patience in everything, and to choose my words carefully. In Jesus name, Amen
