Live on the Narrow Road
Christians are the few people that find the narrow road to Heaven; and since we are created in the image of God, we live the most fulfilling life possible. The purpose of this life on earth is live for eternal life in Heaven.
God has given us the Holy Spirit, and the Father and Son are with us; and Christ guides down the narrow road to our Heavenly home. He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalm 46:10) If we are still inside and slow-down in life, read and obey the Word, and have a church family, then we can live on the narrow road.
Put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth. (Ephesians 4:24) We live by the Truth of the Word, and we have the mind of Christ. When our mind renews to the mind of Christ, and God’s love moves to our heart, we are changed, and we live on the narrow road to Heaven. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:2)
Satan is always trying to pull us off the narrow road but the Lord has given us divine power over Satan. We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them. (1 John 5:18) No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13) God keeps the evil one away from us and we will never be tempted beyond what we endure. God has done everything we need to stay on the narrow road to Heaven.
Today walk with Christ and stay on the narrow road to Heaven.
Prayer: Lord, keep on the narrow to heaven, and help me reflect Christ to everyone. In Jesus name, Amen
