Faith
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Hebrews 11:6
We have faith in God because we know that no one loves us more than God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. (1 John 4:8) Christian’s love everyone on the planet, but we hate the evil that some people do. And the evil in this world comes from Satan, and we blame Satan for all the evil in this world.
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God. (Ephesians 2:8) Through God’s grace we are saved by faith, because our faith shows that we know God. Important for a Christian is to know the Father and the Son, and that comes from reading the Word and obeying the Word.
For nothing will be impossible with God. (Luke 1:37) Knowing that no one loves us more than God, and we know that all things are possible for God; and that gives us faith. We have the Holy Spirit, and Christ guides us through life to Heaven. God has given everything we need to make Heaven our eternal home, and he has given us free will so we can choose Heaven as our eternal home.
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27) God has given the Bible, the Holy Spirit, and Christ guides through life int Heaven. With all God has done for us how we not have faith? Satan was cast down to earth so we now have free will, and God has done everything possible so we have faith, and Heaven will be our home.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6) The Lord wants us to know Him and to trust Him with all our hearts. How can trust anyone unless we know them? We trust the Lord when we know Him, and we know the Lord through reading and obeying the Word, and having the Holy Spirit to fully understand the Word.
The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. (2 Corinthians 2:14) The Holy Spirit enables to understand the Word because the Spirit enables to know God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. (2 Corinthians 2:11)
Through the Spirit we understand the Word, and when we obey the Word we know God and we now have faith. Satan is always trying to pull us away from God by causing to be guided by our fleshly desires. Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. (1 John 4:7) It’s a heart of Love that comes from the Spirit that enables us to know God and live with faith.
Today seek to be guided by the Spirit with faith in God. Reflect God’s love to everyone and our faith will become stronger, because a heart of love enables us to know God.
Prayer: Father continue to fill my heart with your love, so I can be closer to You and to Christ, and my faith we continue to be stronger. In Jesus name, Amen
