One with Christ
All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.
John 6:37
Our relationship with Christ is our choice, and Christ wants a close relationship with us. We seek a close relationship with Christ and he will get closer to us. We can have a closer relationship with Christ than we can have with other people.
The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. (Psalm 145:18) When we call upon the Lord for his divine truth, bringing people to Christ, overcoming Satan’s temptations, guiding us through difficult times, and when we praise and thank him. We always call on the Lord for his guidance, words, strength, and courage, all for his glory.
The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing. (Zephaniah 3:17) The Lord lives with in us, so how can we not commune with him throughout our days? When we seek to be with Christ, the more we will notice the thoughts he puts in our minds. There is nothing greater in life than having a close relationship with Christ and the Father.
The Father and the Son want to have a close relationship with us, and it’s our choice to have a relationship. When we depend on Christ for everything, then we will seek his presence with us. Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16) What a great blessing that Christ lives in us and guides us through life, we need to always seek to know the thoughts he places in our minds. The more we pray, the more we know the Word, the more we live for Christ; the more we will notice his thoughts.
For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. (Philippians 2:13) It is Christ in us that guides to do the Father’s will, and we do his will even is don’t understand, it’s fearful, or it’s difficult; because through the Holy Fear of God we always obey, because it shows our love and faith for the Father and the Son. The more we serve the Lord the closer we are to him.
Today obey the Lord and seek to do his will, and know you are getting closer to the Lord.
Prayer: Lord, help me to always obey your will immediately, regardless of what you have called me to do. In Jesus name. Amen
