Love

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.

Mark 12:30-31

Nothing brings us closer to the Father and the Son than hearts of love. Love motivates us to serve Christ and bring lost souls to Christ, love overcomes Satan’s temptation. Love makes every command in the Bible desirable and natural to us. Love is the foundation of the Christian life.

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. (1 John 4:7) A heart of love enables us to identify with Jesus’s emotions, and that helps us to understand Jesu. Because we have the same emotions as Jesus when we read about him in the Word of God. And what a blessing it is to understand Jesus and read about him in the Word.

Christians love everybody on the planet because everyone is created in the image of God. Many people believe Satan’s evil and deceptions, because they don’t know the Word of God. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12) Our struggle is against Satan and his deceptions that many people believe, and our struggle is not against people.

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. (1 Corinthians 13:2) God’s love is unconditional which means we have love for everyone including our enemies, and their no room in our hearts for hate of people. The more we love people, the more we hate Satan’s lies and deceptions.

Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore, love is the fulfillment of the law. (Romans 13:10) Love enables us fulfill the Lord’s commands with a strong desire, because love changes us to bring people to Christ, because we hurt for lost souls, especially people close to us. Love is what changes the heart to serve Christ and to help others, with an unconditional love and caring heart.

Today live with a heart of love, and show love and kindness to everyone, and God will increase the love in your heart.

Prayer: Fill my heart with more love every day, which motivates me to bring people to Christ. In Jesus name, Amen
