Christ is Within Us
But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him
1 Corinthians 6:17
We are one spirit with the Lord and he will be within us forever. Christ is God and he loves us more than we can imagine, and he is always within us guiding us through life. There is nothing we cannot overcome because we are one with Christ. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. (Ephesians 3:20)
The Lord is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me? (Psalm 118:6) What do we have to fear, no one can touch our eternal spirit except ourselves. The world can only touch our temporary aging flesh. Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28) We have holy fear of God, which brings us closer to God.
The Father and the Son want be with us more than we can imagine, and we strive to be close to the Lord by trusting Him with our life. Faith is what brings us close to the Father and the Son, because we trust the Lord more than we trust ourself. Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6) We trust God to take us through each day, reflecting Christ to everyone, through kindness, patience, and with a caring heart.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. (2 Corinthians 5:17) We are one with Christ, and he guides us to become the person God created us to be, and we become a new creation till our last breath. We become more like Jesus every day, and it is the most fulfilling life we can live. We are created to have the mind of Christ and to have our life guided by Christ. But we have the mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 3:16)
Today realize that Christ is within you and seek his divine guidance. And when Satan temptations come, remember to seek his power to make Satan flee.
Prayer: Father, enable me to always know Christ is within me, and to always seek his divine guidance and power. In Jesus name, Amen
