God’s Truth Never Changes

Posted on

For His lovingkindness is great toward us, And the truth of the Lord is everlasting. Praise the Lord

Psalm 117:2

God’s truth in the Word never changes, even if man tries to change it to suit his evil ways. God’s truth will always prevail, independent of whatever man decides to believe. And every human being will be judged by God’s truth that is given the Word, and man can never change God’s truth, no matter what they choose to believe.

To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32) Satan has people thinking they will loss ether freedom when give their life to Christ, but the truth is only Christ can give real freedom. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1) Mankind is either free in Christ or a slave to the world, and no matter how much money someone has, without Christ they remain a slave to the world.

This temporary life is the only chance we have to obey the Word and have Heaven be our eternal home. Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (Matthew 12:13-14) The problem is most people never find the narrow road to Heaven, because they don’t read or obey the truth from the Word of God. Instead, they find it easier to believe Satan’s lies, than to find God’s truth.

But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. (John 16:13) The Holy Spirit will guide us into all of God’s truth, and we will overcome Satan’s lies and deceptions. Christ speaks through the Spirit and puts thoughts in our minds, and these thoughts are all come from God’s truth. If we drift from God’s truth and fall into sin, the Spirit will warn of what is to come, because sin has worldly consequences.

Mankind has a tendency to believe his own thoughts, that may deviate from God’s truth. Satan is always trying to get a foothold in our life by taking us away from God’s truth, and his lies may agree with our worldly nature.

Today live by God’s truth that comes from the Word., and we ask the Spirit to give us the truth as we read the Word.

Prayer: Lord, guide me in your divine truth, and never let Satan get a foothold. In Jesus name, Amen
