God is Perfect

Posted on

As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless he shields all who take refuge in him.

Psalm 18:30

We follow Christ because his guidance is perfect, although sometimes we justify our thoughts and actions. We pray throughout the day for God’s guidance, and we ask if our choices are pleasing to Him. It’s our advantage to let God guide us, and we pray that if there is anything in our life that is not pleasing to Him, we ask Him to change us.

God guides us toward eternal life, and Christ will keep us on the narrow road. Christ is with us therefore Satan has no power to pull us off the narrow road, if we keep our thoughts on Christ.

God is perfect and he never changes. If God changes, his Word would have to change, his judgment would have to change, and his church would need to change. These characteristics are seen in people, but God is perfect now and forever. Therefore, the Word of God is our guide, and the Spirit guides us in all truth. When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. (John 16:13) Christ guides us through the Spirit, all truth comes through the Spirit, and the Spirit prepares us for the future.

Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, my thoughts and my ways are higher than yours. (Isaiah 55:9) When we truly know God, we will trust his ways above our ways. God knows us better than we know our self, and Christ can guide us better than could ever guide our self. Do we have the faith to trust Christ over trusting self? Every choice we make we ask for the Lord’s approval, and we ask that he is always with us.
I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5) Christians are always looking for an opportunity to bring someone to Christ, that is way we always need Christ with us. If we ask; Christ will guide us to someone to minister, and he will guide us in our ministry. We depend on Christ in everything because reflect Christ in everything.

Today be guided by Christ and the Word of God, and always be looking for someone to bring to Christ.

Prayer: Guide me to put my life totally in the hands of Christ, and to be guided through each day of life. In Jesus name, Amen.
