Live for Eternity
If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.
1 Corinthians 15:19
Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment. (Hebrews 9:27) God is our judge, and his judgment is based on his truth. The most fulfilling live is when we live for eternal life. God sets us free and gives us power to overcome the world. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1)
God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth. (John 4:24) God is our judge and we are blessed when we live for eternal life. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10)
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:2) The Holy Spirit that lives in the believer, so we become the person God created us to be.
When we walk with the Lord, the Spirit fills our soul with love, peace, and joy from Heaven. When our mind is filled with God’s love and hope, we are healthier because fear, anger, worry, and unforgiveness are toxic to our health.
Today, know everyone faces eternity. God greatly desires to bring us home to live with him in Heaven.
