Faith

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

Ephesians 2:8

We are saved by faith because we trust God more than we trust our self. God knows us better than we know ourself, and our faith depends on God to guide us through each day of our life.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5) When we live to serve the Lord and walk in his wisdom, it shows the Lord that we truly trust him. When we serve the Lord with our hearts focused on ministry to others, and the Lord, he sees our faith and takes divine action to us through life.

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you (Isaiah 26:3). When we fully trust to obey his Word, we are blessed because we need Christ with us. It is critically important that we follow the Spirit being a light for Christ as he leads us through every difficulty in life.

I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength (Philippians 4:11-13). The apostle Paul put his faith in Christ and Paul was focused on Heaven. And every Christian will overcome fear when their focus is on eternal life.

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:17-18). We can depend on Christ being with us every day, and he helps through trouble in life. Christ is always faithful to his promises in the Word, and we can always trust Christ over self.

God tests our faith to see if we trust him or if we let Satan’s fear pull us away from God. With God love in our hearts we overcome Satan fear and we obey the Christ. If fear takes us away from what the Lord wants to do, then our faith is weak. The more difficult life becomes the more we pray and depend on our Lord for his divine help and guidance.

Today, trust the Lord in every situation and let the Spirit guide you to reflect Christ. Know that faith is what pleases God, and faith tis what saves us

Prayer: Lord, help me to live by faith in your divine will and not in my own will. Help me to always put you first in my life, living to serve you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
