Life with Patience

Posted on

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

Galatians 5:22-23

Having patience is a blessing because when we rush through life, we take away peace, joy., and relaxation. We should have patience, otherwise we might never notice someone who needs our help. Did we ever see Jesus get in rush, he always took the time to help others, heal them, answer their questions, or tell them about salvation.

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. (Ephesians 4:2) We certainly need patience when we minister to people, we need listen to understand their believe, and we should have scriptures to counteract any of Satan’s lies that they might believe. We always look up to others with a caring attitude, and never get angry by what they say.

Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. (Psalm 27:14) We need patience with the Lord because it takes time to change us, sometimes months or even a year or more. When we pray for his guidance in teaching a class or ministering to someone, the Lord is with us helping us with our words, attitude, and scriptures.

But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. (Matthew 24:42) Satan brings evil into the world, so fear will cause some Christians to abandon their faith. We stand with Christ till our last breath no matter what happens in this world. We walk with patience and relaxed because we know Heaven is our home. Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. (James 4:14) We should always be ready to leave this earth and go to our heavenly home.

Living with patience and being relaxed with peace and joy, gives us better health, because it takes away stress. The Lord wants us to trust him in all things, and he is always with us, so through our faith we can overcome fear. Satan wants us to live in fear, but we choose to live with peace and joy from God.

Today live with patience in all things, and when others see your patience and peace, they make ask how you remain calm. That opens the door to salvation through Christ.

Prayer: Lord, help me to be patient in all things, and to live in peace and joy. In Jesus name Amen
