Life is Our Spirit
As the body without the spirit is dead.
James 2:26
The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you–they are full of the Spirit and life. (John 6:63) Our life is our spirit which means the world cannot kill our eternal life, because our spirit never dies. Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28) God created us so the world cannot kill the eternal life within us, because our soul or spirit lives forever.
We live for eternity which means our spirit lives forever, and when Christ returns, we get a new perfect eternal body that never ages. Christians have nothing to fear, because the world can never kill the divine life within us, and we live forever in Heaven.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23) There are many people in this world that have been deceived by Satan, and they live for their fleshly desires; and it’s sad because when they die, they will know the truth, but it will be too late. It’s amazing how many people is this world never find the truth, because they never or rarely read or obey the Word of God.
In the last days the world will become increasingly evil, and even today many Christians are being killed by people who don’t know the Truth. They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God. (John 16:2) Satan is attacking governments all over the world, and turning them against Christians and churches. But the world can never touch our spirit!
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. (Matthew 5:14) Christians are a light for Christ, because we seek to help people off the Broad Road to destruction and on to the Narrow Road to Heaven. We are tasks by Christ to bring God’s truth to the world, even though many people will not listen, but one soul is worth more than all the riches in the world.
Today live for Christ and keep your spirit close to Christ, as he guided us by the Holy Spirit.
Prayer: Guide me to be a light for Christ, and to be guided by Christ. In Jesus name, Amen
