Know God’s Love
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
1 John 4:16
God is the creator of love, and if we really knew the how much love God has for us, and how much he wants to bless us, and how much he wants us to be with Him in Heaven; our faith would be perfect, and we would gladly surrender to his divine will. It’s a heart of love that enables us to understand God’s heart and his will.
Satan’s goal is to tempt Christians to be there on God, without even knowing it. If we really know God, we will replace our will with the Lord’s will in every situation; whether driving, working, on vacation, or whatever we do, we will walk in the Lord’s will. If you love me, keep my commands. (John 14:15) If we truly love the Lord, we will keep his commands and we will be a light on a hill. With hearts filled with God’s love, we hurt for lost souls who have been deceived by Satan, especially those in our family and close friends.
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. (1 John 4:7) With hearts of love we are motivated to tell others about Christ, and we pray that the Lord will open doors for us. With hearts of love, life is all about God and others, because how we be light to others without being free of self. This is the way of God, but it’s not the way of the world.
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20) This verse explains how to live the best life possible on this planet. We know in our hearts the love the Father has for us, because he sent is Son to die for our sins, and with this divine love we have strong faith to die to self and turn our lives over to Christ.
Be aware of Satan because he wants to make us our own god, because he knows if we fully surrender to the Lord, he has no control over us. You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. (1 John 4:4) Stay in the Word, stay in prayer, stay in fellowship; and live with victory in Christ.
Today know God by filling your heart with his divine love. We witness to others with love and compassion in order to get our hearts filled with God’s love. It’s hearts filled with God’s love that changes us forever.
Prayer: Lord guide me in the Spirit and continue to fill my heart with your divine love. In Jesus name, Amen
