Heaven is Our Home

I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.

John 10:28-30

Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. “For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it. (Matthew 7:13-14) We are on the narrow road to Heaven, and no one can snatch us out of the Fathers hand. We need a Church family to help us to stay on the narrow road, because Satan will tempt us to move us to the broad road.

For this world is not our home; we are looking forward to our everlasting home in heaven. (Hebrews 13:14) The closer we are to Christ and our church family, the more this world doesn’t seem like home, and our thoughts are own things above and not on things of the world.

Your word is a lamp to my feet. And a light to my path. (Psalm 119:105) The more we are guided by the Word, the more we can be guided by Christ. And the more we know the Word the more we can minister to others, because the power is in the Word. Knowing the Word and guided by Christ, to minister to others, is how we stay on the narrow road to Heaven.

For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. (2 Corinthians 5:1) This scripture compares this life as living in a tent, and in Heaven we have building from God. Eternal life in Heaven is so great, we can’t imagine, because we will be with the Father and Son. Places in this world, homes are destroyed by Satan’s army, but their eternal home is Heaven, and nobody can destroy our soul and spirit.

Today know Heaven is your home, and stay on the narrow which leads to Heaven.

Prayer: Lord, lead me down the narrow road to home in Heaven. In Jesus name, Amen
