God Will Provide
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
With faith and obedience to God’s Word, Christ will provide for every need we have. He will give us his endurance, feed our soul with blessings from Heaven, and we will overcome the world. All things are possible for God, and we know he can provide for our every need.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33) Christ promises to give us all our earthy needs, if we place serving Christ as our priority in life. We will experience life to the fullest only when we put Christ first. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me (Galatians 2:20) When we live for Christ and die to our sinful nature, we can trust the Lord will provide.
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Hebrews 11:6) If we want our faith to be pleasing to God, we must trust the Lord with our life. This means we live to serve Christ by following the Spirit. The more we know the Word the easier we follow the Spirit, and the more we follow the Spirit the more we trust the Lord’s will over our will. This is the faith that pleases God.
The closer we are to Christ, the more we live serving Christ and others; and the more the Lord provides for us. The Lord places his love in our hearts as we seek to tell the world about Christ. Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. (1 John 4:7) The more of God’s love we have in our hearts, the more we become like Jesus, and the more we know the Lord. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. (1 John 4:12) As God’s love in our hearts reaches toward completeness, the more we are motivated to bring Christ to all souls. And the more we serve he Lord the more he provides for our needs, and we seek nothing more that knowing Christ and his experiencing His blessings.
Today live for Christ and know he will provide for your needs, and he will give you wisdom and a thankful heart to manage life.
Prayer: Lord always increase my faith and help me to follow the Spirit in being a light is this world. Help me to always put others first. In Jesus name, Amen
