Live in God’s Power

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,

Ephesians 3:20

When we serve the Lord his power will work in us, but what is the power? For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.  (Romans 1:16) The power of God in our lives is the Word of God. God created the universe from his words, and the Bible is the Word of God, and living by the Word, God molds people to new creation in Christ.

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. (James 1:22) When we obey the Word being a Light on a Hill, Christ is with us through the Spirit and we are living in the Lord’s power. God changes us as we obey the Word, helping people and telling them about Christ, and the Lord fills our heart with his divine agape love. The more we minister to the world the more God’s love fills our hearts and love changes our focus from self to God and others.

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. (Galatians 2:20) When Christ is our priority in our life, and we depend on Christ being with us, then His power is working in us. The more we know the Word of God which is the language of God, the more we know Christ and the more we can follow the Spirit. If we ask for the Lord’s guidance we will live in his power and wisdom, which is far better than living in our own power and wisdom.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, (2 Timothy 1:16) The more we know the word and depend on Christ being with us, the power of God can be seen in us, because everything in the Word we have experienced which gives a divine understanding of how God’s command greatly improves life.

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. (Romans 10:17) We know God’s promises from his Word, and when we experience the Truth of his promises, our faith increases to where we trust God’s will over our will, and we will live with great peace and security. God’s love for us is perfect and he will guide us to the most fulfilling life and fill our soul with his everlasting blessings.

Today live in God’s power by knowing the Word and living by the Word. Follow the Spirit by knowing the language of God and asking for guidance.
