Live with Joy and Peace

Posted on

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Romans 15:13

Knowing the Lord is always with us and that Heaven is our home, we can live with joy and peace. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? (Psalm 118:6) Our soul is protected by God for eternal life, and we can prevent man from having any power over our soul. We live in eternal victory because we are guided by Christ into our Heavenly home.

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. (1 John 4:18) God’s love in our hearts will cast our Satan’s fear, because God has control over Satan, especially in the lives of Christians. We can be filled with joy and peace, because nothing will shake us out of the God’s righteous hand. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10) With the Lord upholding us and giving us his strength, what do we have to fear? With the power of God with us, we overcome the world.

As the world becomes evil in the last days, we become more powerful reflecting God’s love. To the Lord your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it. (Deuteronomy 10:14) God is sovereign over all creation, and the most important thing is all creation is his family. We are God’s family with a perfect Father who loves more than we can imagine, he will give us his wisdom and power to endure anything this world puts in our path.

Our task from Christ is to stand strong in the faith, reflecting God’s love to the world. We have the power of the Word to combat Satan’s lies and deception. Our weapon against Satan’s fear is to show the world the joy and peace we have in Christ. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14:27) Our peace and joy are divine because it’s from Heaven, and the world cannot take it away. Our family is our first ministry, so we can be comforted because we know our family is Heaven bound; therefore, our hearts are not troubled.

Today live with joy and peace in this troubled world, because this world is not our home, Heaven is our home. You are an ambassador for Christ, and when we finished our ambassadorship, we go home.

Prayer:  Increase my faith and guide me to reflect joy and peace in this fearful world. In Jesus name, Amen
