God Has Complete Control
Whatever the Lord pleases, He does, In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps.
Psalm 135:6
God created the universe, stars, planets, and he created earth for us to live on; and he also created man in his image. We look at this world and we see evil, wars, natural disasters, and a world where Satan is trying to drive people away from God. But God has given us free will to live the way of the world, or live as we are created. If we desire to live in victory we walk with Lord, because God is in complete control.
The Lord does whatever pleases him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths. (Psalm 135:6). What pleases him the most is to bless and protect his family of believers and to bring us home to live in Heaven with him forever. He has saved us and called us to a holy life–not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time. (2 Timothy 1:9) The Lord has sacrificed his Son to cleanse us of our sins and offer forgiveness.; because God loves us more than we can imagine.
But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved. (Hebrews 10:39) We stand strong in the power of God because we have overcome the world and we know that our last breath we have eternal victory. You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. (1 John 4:4)
Today, live knowing God is in control. He has the power to lead us through life into Heaven. His power in you overcomes the world and there is nothing this world can do that will separate you from God’s love and his power to care for you. Today, walk in confidence because God’s love, compassion, care, and his infinite power are with you.
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28) Life is in our spirit and we live forever, Our flesh is temperary and only last for our time on earth, while our spirit lives forever with a new perfect eternal body that never ages. We live this life guided by the Word and by Christ, and we know our eternal home is Heaven.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for always being with me and enabling me through your love, strength, and power to overcome the world. You are in control of everything and I can depend on you to carry me through life into Heaven. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
