Forever
The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.
1 John 2:17
We live forever after this worldly life ends, and where we live for eternity is our choice. We either serve Christ or we serve Satan, there is no other choice. The Bible is God’s Word, which tells us how to live this life for eternal life in Heaven. We have a life time to read and obey the Word of God, so Heaven will be our home.
Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. (Galatians 6:8) If we live to please our fleshly desires we reap eternal destruction, but if we are guided by God through the Spirit, we will reap eternal life. The best life is be guided by Christ who guides us according to how God created us.
So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (Genesis 1:27) When we live according to how God created us, we will live the best life possible on this earth. We are created to have the Holy Spirit, to have Christ with us at all times, to know and obey the Word, and have a church family. When we live as created, God fills our hearts with his love and we are changed forever, and we become the person God created us to be.
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Revelations 12:9) People that don’t know the Word of God, are by default have been deceived by Satan. They hope for eternal life, which is based on nothing but Satan’s lies. The world has been deceived by Satan because he tempts us to live for our fleshly desires, both good and evil.
Many people live with Satan lies, because they do not know the Truth from God’s Word. They are living by their fleshly desires and they take no time to read the Word. Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (Matthew 7:13-14) Most people in this world are living on the broad road, but with Satan’s lies and deceptions, some people think they are on the narrow road to Heaven. However, it’s never to late to start reading and obeying the Word, and finding a Bible based church family.
Today know this life is the only chance we have to live for eternal life. We are created to live in Heaven with the Father and the Son, and hell was originally created for Satan and his demons.
Prayer: Father, help me to live for eternal life based on the Word, and help me to bring the Truth to those who think they have eternal life based on Satan’s lies and deceptions.
