God – Creator of Love
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Nothing connects us to God more than a heart of love, and God’s desire is to fill our hearts with his love so we can be more like Jesus. As we serve Christ, Gods love begins to fill our hearts, and if we keep serving Christ, our hearts continue be filled with God’s love to our last breath.
Love is patient and kind, which means we take the time to minister to people. We show kindness to everyone, because without kindness how can minister to people? In The Word did we ever read about Jesus in a hurry, or didn’t he take the time to help someone? We should always strive to be patience and show kindness in all situations.
Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. Love delights in success of others, and we thank God for their success, and we thank God for the goodness he shows us. Love is not rude, which means we always show kindness, even to non-Christians who may be angry. Christians give all the glory to God, because our success comes from Christ who guides through each day of life, and glory is not directed to self.
It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. A Christian should always have an attitude of Joy, because we help others and Heaven is our home. Every Christian should have a thankful heart to God, and take nothing for granted. Every time a person approaches a Christian, the Christian show kindness, patience, and genuine interest in the person; because we have a heart of love for everyone.
It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Christians hate sin and injustice, and we live to promote God’s Truth. And God’s Truth is the best way to live because the Lord will guide us to live the best life we can live on this earth. We care about people and we have the desire to tell people about salvation in Christ.
Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. A heart filled with God’s love, never gives up ministering to people, and we have all our faith in Christ, and we endure whatever Satan puts in our path, because a heart of love never gives up, because Christ is with us.
A heart of love is what motivates us to help others and tell them about Christ, because a heart of love cares about other people, including our enemies. Everyone will know the Truth when Christ returns, but it will be to late for lost souls.
Today Serve the Lord and ask the Lord to fill your heart with more love each day.
