Faith Pleasing to God
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Hebrews 11:6
God is perfectly faithful and we can always trust Him more than we trust our self. Our faith must be pleasing to God and we must remember all things are possible for God, and His priority is for Christ to guide us through life and into Heaven.
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. (Romans 10:17) The Word of God reveals that God is perfectly faithful to those who serve Christ. We can always trust God in every situation, but sometimes we may not understand because God sees our future and his goal is lead us to Heaven.
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9) We are saved by faith, because without faith it shows we don’t know God. Every Christian should have a close relationship with Christ, and will fully trust God in every situation in life.
For we walk by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7) We trust God and follow Christ even when we don’t fully understand, but we still obey, because we can never understand all the ways of God. After we obey the Lord, we will see the wisdom of God in our life. God’s knowledge is infinitely above ours, and that is why we trust God over ourself; and we remember no one loves us a much as God loves us.
Today trust the Lord and obey his Word because everything in the Word is to our benefit.
