Divine Freedom from Christ
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
Galatians 5:1
There is no freedom in this world that compares to the freedom from Christ. We are free if we know Heaven is our home, and we are a slave to the world if Heaven is not our home. Christ sets us free as he guides us down the Narrow Road to eternal life in Heaven.
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. (2 Corinthians 3:17) The Lord is with us through the Spirit, and if we know the Word, pray, and if we are still inside, Christ will guide through each day of our life. The Spirit will convict us if we start to wander toward the Broad Road of destruction.
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. (John 8:36) There is no freedom like the freedom from Christ. Even we are killed for being a Christian, we are still free because Heaven is our home. When we experience freedom from Christ, we have overcome the world. Everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. (John 5:4) We can be free in Christ no matter where we live in this world.
This matter arose because some false believers had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus and to make us slaves. (Galatians 3:4) We have to be aware of churches that preach false doctrine that is not from the truth of the Word, and it is very important that we know the Word so we can detect false doctrine. Satan is always trying to take away our freedom and make us slaves to the world.
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. (John 8:32) Knowing and living by the truth of the Word sets us free, because their no other way to find divine love and freedom in this world. God who created us, is the only one that gives us freedom, and it can never come from the world, and that freedom stays with us throughout life, and when we reach Heaven, we are free beyond words. The truth of the Word is the only way we can ever find true freedom from God.
Today know and live by the Word, and live with divine freedom from God.
Prayer: Lord thank you for the divine freedom from the world, a freedom to travel the narrow road to Heaven. In Jesus name, Amen
