Divine Blessings Feed Our Spirit

Posted on

As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

James 2:26

Our life is in our soul, it’s our thoughts, our personality, and our will. Since our spirit is our life, the blessings of God constantly feed our spirit through the Holy Spirit, and when the spiritual us are content from the blessings from God, then we have lasting divine contentment that is more powerful than anything from the world.

We are spiritual people living in a temporary physical body, and only God can fully satisfy us with lasting blessings. Satan wants us to believe that contentment and satisfaction only comes from the flesh, but things from the world are only temporary and never bring continuous divine contentment and satisfaction.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. (2 Corinthians 4:16) Our physical body started to decay when sin entered the world, but we are spiritual people and we live forever. When the spiritual us, is content and satisfied from the continuous blessing from God, things of the world start to disappear from our minds. And we satisfied with the necessities to sustain our physical life, because we need our bodies to tell the world about Christ.

We try and keep our bodies healthy so we serve Christ, and the spiritual us is becoming more like Christ. We become more like Christ and our spirit gets a new body, younger, perfect, that never ages. It is called a spiritual body because in Heaven the Father and the Son are with us, therefore our environment is the light of God. Now we receive the blessings of God through the flesh as well as through the Spirit. So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. (1 Corinthians 15:42-44)

The blessings from God that feed the spiritual us, continue to get stronger the longer we serve Christ being a light in this dark world. The blessings get so strong that we have the desire to leave this world so we can be with Christ forever in Heaven. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. (Philippians 1:21)

The blessings from God draw us closer to Christ, and away from the world, and we minister to the world from the Kingdom within us. Since we are a spiritual person, we can easily connect with Christ through the Holy Spirit.

I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. (John 17:14) As Satan tells the world to be governed by the flesh, because he knows we are created to be governed by the Spirit.  The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. (Romans 8:6) If we are governed by the Spirit, the spiritual person will have divine contentment forever, and Heaven will be our home.

Today see yourself as a spiritual person, because that’s who you are. Minster to everyone by reflecting Christ to the world and tell them they are spiritual person that lives forever.

Prayer:  Lord help to always know that I am spiritual person and help me to minister to the world from the Kingdom.  In Jesus name, Amen
