Crucified to Save Us
But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8
Jesus was flogged and crucified for our sins, so we can have forgiveness, and Christ presents to the Father as perfect. God paid the price so we can be saved, because we all have a sinful nature and we can never save ourselves.
Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. (John 17:3) Heaven is being with the Father and with Christ, and what would Heaven be like without the Father and Christ? We realize the great love the Father and Son have for us, and how much they desire to be with us in Heaven. We dedicate our life to serving Christ, reading the Word, and having a church family; and Heaven will be our home.
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one. (John 10:28-30) God has done everything so Heaven will be our eternal home, except to change our free will. Our time on earth is the only time we have to obey the Word, and no one is promised tomorrow.
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27) Everyone is created in the image of God, and if we live the way we are created, we will live the best life possible.
Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. “For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14) Many people are on the broad road because they believe Satan’s lies; causing us to live for their fleshly desires, and Satan wants us in Hell because he is angry at God. It’s amazing how many people believe Satan’s lies, because they never read the Word for God’s truth and they don’t attend a Bible based church. Anyone who lives by Satan’s lies, will not have Heaven as their home.
Today know that God paid the price for our salvation, by sending his Son to the cross for our sins.
Prayer: Father, guide me down the narrow road to Heaven; and open doors to tell others about salvation in Christ. In Jesus name, Amen
