Created for Heaven
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
2 Corinthians 4:17
We all created to live forever in Heaven, but where we go for eternity is our choice. Only the flesh dies and our life is in our spirit which lives forever, and we get a new body that never ages and lasts forever in Heaven, if Heaven our choice.
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (Matthew 7:13-14) The Word of God tells us how live so we travel the Narrow Road to Heaven. But Satan has people concentrating on their physical life, so they don’t think about their eternal life, and their life is based on believing Satan’s lies. Satan is the great deceiver and he has deceived many people on this earth.
God has done everything possible so Heaven will be our home; he has given us the Word as a guide to Heaven, He gives he Holy Spirit to live in us, Christ is always with us and he guides us through life, and we are in the family of God. However, we have a choice, because God has given is freewill, we can follow God or we can follow Satan, there is no other choice? If we are not following God, then by default we are following Satan. Then Jesus said to his disciples, Whoever, wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. (Matthew 16:24) We follow God no matter what happens to us in this life.
God has given us his divine power to overcome Satan’s temptations, and he protects us from the evil one. No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13) God will not let Satan tempt us beyond what we can endure and overcome, and he will provide an escape, if we truly have the desire to overcome.
God is love, and he puts his love in our hearts as we seek to bring people to Christ. Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. (1 John 4:7) It a heart of love that helps to know God and the Word, because God is love. We are created to have the mind of Christ, and a heart of love is needed to be like Christ.
Today know you were created to live in Heaven, and the Word of God is the guide that everyone needs to make Heaven their eternal home.
Prayer: Father, help me down the Narrow Road to Heaven, and help me to obey your Word. In Jesus name, Amen
