Power of Christ in Us

Posted on

I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

Galatians 2:20

We have a divine life because Christ is within us, and when our life is guided by Christ, we are living the way God created us. When we live as created, we live the best life possible, and the closer we are to Christ the better life becomes. If we look close at our life, we may see how Satan keeps our distant from Christ without us being aware. Satan is the great deceiver and he has deceived many Christians without them knowing, because he plays with our own justification.

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” (Matthew 16:24) We are disciples for Christ, and whatever we do in life we have Christ with us and we reflect his love and kindness, because Christ guides us to reveal his love and care for people.

When we live the way Christ wants to live, we may see it as difficult sometimes or we are not prepared, and that is because of Satan’s influence in our life. That is why we see ourself as crucified with Christ, and Christ lives in us, and with the power of Christ and knowing the Word, what to have to fear. For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7) Fear is a weapon from Satan, but Christ has total power over Satan and Christ is with us, so we follow Christ with no fear.

I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5) Our task is to bear fruit for Christ, and with love, power, and wisdom from Christ, we can do more than we can imagine. That’s we need faith, and we don’t let Satan’s fear take away our faith in Christ, because we live with power of God.

Today live with the power of Christ, and know he is with you, and he will guide you to victory; and victory is when we do what the Lord desires.

Prayer: Father don’t let Satan’s fear in any way stop me from serving Christ, and bringing people to Christ. In Jesus name, Amen
