Christ Provides

Posted on

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Matthew 6:33

Only Christ can fulfill our spiritual soul and provide for all our needs in this life. Christ provides for our spiritual needs and our worldly needs, but lasting contentment only comes from Christ through the Spirit.  Without Christ and the Holy Spirit, we are spiritually dead.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10) We can have everything the world can offer, but without Christ we are poor, but with spiritual blessings from Christ, we have life to the full. The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. (John 6:63)

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (Matthew 7:13-14) Many people are entering the broad road of destruction because they believe Satan’s lies, because they appeal to their temporary fleshly desires.  Only Christ can carry us to the narrow road into eternal life in Heaven.

The people on the narrow road are people in God’s family, filled with the Holy Spirit and walking with love, peace, and joy because they see the eternal heavenly Light at the end of the road.  At the end of the broad road is nothing but eternal darkness. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. (James 1:17) Those on the narrow road receive the Lord’s blessings through the Spirit and live life to the full. Christ provides our every need and guides us through life to overcome the world.  All people on the narrow road live in spiritual victory, while people walking on the broad road live in spiritual defeat.

Today know you are walking on the narrow road, and Christ will provide everything you need to reach Heaven. The more we serve the Lord the more he provides our spiritual and worldly needs Live today for Christ and receive his divine blessings.

Prayer:  Father, give me the faith to know you will provide for my every need, both spiritual and worldly. In Jesus name, Amen
