Christ Never Changes
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Hebrews 13:8
The Father and Christ are always perfect and there is no need to change, and we can justify our thinking but God never changes. This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. (1 John 1:5) People can believe whatever they desire but it only changes what they believe, because God never changes. Eternal truth only comes from God, and it is written in the Word of God.
Heaven is our home when we obey God’s commands, and we show our love for God by obeying his commands. We show our love for God by obeying his commandments, and they are not hard to follow. (1 John 5:3) The Lord’s commands become natural to us because we are created in God’s image, and when God fills our heart with his love, all the commands become our new Godly nature. We are now living the best possible life, because we are now living as God created us.
Satan is the great deceiver and has people living for the fleshly desires, and people think there is no fulfilling life unless they live for their flesh. But we are created by God which means we are close to God the Father and to Christ, and we live by the Holy Spirit and only Christ guides us to Heaven.
The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever. (Isaiah 40:8) Everything on the earth tends to change, but the Word of God never changes. God’s Word will stand forever, and. we have our whole life to read and know the Word. The Word opens our hearts to know the Father and know Christ, and the perfect love they have for everyone.
The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. (1 John 4:8) A heart of love brings us closer to God, because we know God much better. With a heart of love, we can see in scripture how God the Father and Christ have perfect love for us, and how much they desire for us to be in Heaven. They have done everything possible for us in this life, so Heaven will be our eternal home; but He never changes our freewill.
God knows the heart and mind of every person that ever lived on this planet, and He will make a perfect judgment for every eternal life. We cannot hide anything in our life from God, because He knows us better than we know ourself.
Today live for Christ and obey the Word. The most fulfilling life is living for Christ, it brings love, peace, and joy that get stronger as we keep serving Christ.
Prayer: Lord, help me to serve Christ and to obey the Word. And keep me from justifying any changes in my life that is displeasing to you. In Jesus name, Amen
