Christ is Always with Us

Posted on

And teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

Matthew 28:20

If we seek to obey Christ and pray that he is always with us, then he will aways be in our presence. Then we can live with the Lord’s love, wisdom, power, and courage always with us, guiding us through each day.

Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them, (John 14:23). We are never alone because the Father and Son are with us, and the Holy Spirit lives in us. The more we commune with the Lord, read his Word, and obey his will, the more we will experience his presences with us.

The Lord God said, “it is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him,” (Genesis 2:18). God created Eve as a wife for Adam, and they started the first family. We are created for relationships, and that is why Christ established his church. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts, (Colossians 3:16). Strong relationships can occur within our Christian family because we are connected by the Holy Spirit.

The Lord recognizes we need time alone so we can clear our mind of worldly problems, and be with him and his Word. The more alone time we spend with the Lord, the less time we will feel alone.

We are created to be guided by the Spirit who leads us in ministering to others, and how can we minister without Christ being with us? When we minister to others, reflecting Gods love, our heart opens to receive more of God’s love. God created us to be light in this world and that is why serving the Lord we feel more fulfilled, more confident, more loved, more satisfied, and we tend to have better health.

. The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you–they are full of the Spirit and life. (Luke 6:63) Life is full when we serve Christ and knowing the great love God has for us, and the love from our church family. When the Lord fills our heart with his love, we live to serve Christ and help others.

Today be aware that the Lord loves you more than you can imagine, and he wants to bless you and lead you through a fulfilling life. Know that the Father and the Son are with you; and your church family.

Prayer: Lord, thank you that Christ is always with me, guiding me through each day, and to always be sustained by your love and the divine purpose for my life. In Jesus name, Amen
