The Lord Opens Doors

I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. -Revelations 3:8

We are pleased to announce that the Lord has blessed Eternal Walk Ministry with an opportunity to minister at the Crossroads Freedom Center!

What is Crossroads Freedom Center?

Crossroads Freedom Center is a Christ-centered ministry focused on helping those broken by addiction.

Many people struggle with drug abuse, alcoholism, anger, financial struggles, pornography, gambling, and relationship issues because of addiction. Crossroads Freedom Center introduces people to the Lord, who enables them to overcome their difficulty. The center instills hope through Christ that leads them to freedom!

The Center connects men with jobs so that they may work during the day. Those in the program start each day with devotions and end with Bible and recovery classes. Christian counseling is also available as needed. Programs range from one to two years.

Crossroads Freedom Center is located on 16 acres of scenic land, revealing the beauty of God’s creation. It is the perfect place for weary souls to find rest in their time with the Lord. The facility also includes residential accommodations for the men, staff housing, meeting rooms, a dining hall, and a chapel.

How God Opened the Door

A resident at Crossroads Freedom Center, whom we had ministered to in the past, called and requested copies of books written by Eternal Walk Ministry. We delivered the books to him, and the Lord opened the door to participate in Friday morning devotions with the men. It has been a blessing to witness those being lifted and encouraged by the Spirit!

God’s Plan for the Future

The future of Eternal Walk Ministry’s involvement with Crossroads Freedom Center is entirely in the Lord’s hands. We are eager to serve the Lord as he opens doors, especially at Crossroads. In the near future, we have the opportunity to help renovate an upstairs area in order to house more residents. We believe that serving the Lord is not just about bible study, but includes meeting physical needs with a compassionate heart. Jesus himself uses physical needs to illustrate service in this passage found in Matthew 25:37-40.

Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”

Seeking Opened Doors

At Eternal Walk Ministry we are always seeking the Lord’s will moving forward through prayer. As we mature in our faith, the Lord is faithful to give us opportunities to minister in new and exciting ways. We listen and follow the Spirit, and the Lord provides us with comfort and rest. He knows that it is also important to have time with our families and our church family as well as one-on-one time with Him, and He never lets us get overwhelmed.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will

find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30).
