Be with Christ

Posted on

Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.

Deuteronomy 31:6

Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them, (John 14:23). We are never alone because the Father and Son are with us, and the Holy Spirit lives in us. The more we commune with the Lord and read his Word and obey his will, the more we will experience his presences with us.

Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. (Colossians 3:16). Strong relationships occur when we read and obey the Word and attend a Bible based church with other Christians.

The Lord recognizes we need time alone so we can clear our mind of worldly problems, and be with Him and his Word. The more alone time we spend with the Lord, the less time we will feel lonely.

We are created to be guided by the Spirit who leads us in ministering to people, and fills our heart with the desire to minister to others. When we minister to others, reflecting Gods love, our heart opens to receive more of God’s love. God created us to be light in this world and that is why serving the Lord is fulfilling, more loved, more satisfied, and we tend to have better health.

The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you–they are full of the Spirit and life. (Luke 6:63) Love from God also comes from close Christian friends which are our Christian family. Without the love of God in our heart, there will always be an emptiness in our soul because only God can satisfy our soul with lasting love and blessings.

Today be aware that the Lord loves you more than anyone on earth, and reflect Christs love to everyone

Prayer: Help me to remain close to Christ and to feel your presence today. I will walk today with your Words in my heart. In Jesus name, Amen
