A New Creation
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
2 Corinthians 5:17
We are new creation because we have a new life, a life in Christ. We walk through each day with Christ, just as if he was walking beside us. We talk to Christ because he is with us and we ask for his divine guidance so we can be more Christ-like.
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. (John 16:13) Christ guides us through the Spirit and he is with us every second of the day. Christ is God and he wants to guide us through life into Heaven.
We put our faith in Christ and we depend on Christ to guide us through every day. He will remind us of scriptures and our words when are ministering to someone. The more we want and need the Lord with us, and the more we know the Word, the more guidance we can receive from the Lord.
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:2) The Lord renews our mind because our thinking, from ways of the world to the ways of God. As our thoughts change, then over time our mind rewires to the ways of God. Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. (James 1:22) As we obey the Word, both our mind and our heart continue to change. When both our mind and heart change, then we are new creation in Christ and the old is gone; and God is renewing our mind and changing our heart till our last breath. We are now the person God created us to be.
Today know you are a new creation in Christ and the old is gone, and this process will continue until we reach Heaven.
