Live God’s Truth
For His lovingkindness is great toward us, And the truth of the Lord is everlasting. Praise the Lord!
God’s Truth is found in the Bible, and God’s truth never changes. People can believe whatever they desire, but we face judgement based on God ‘s never changing truth. People that don’t know the Word of God, will live believing Satan’s lies and deceptions, which will lead people directly to eternal destruction.
Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name. (Psalm 86:11) Christians do their best to walk in God’s truth, with hearts that fear God. Fear God doesn’t mean we are afraid of God, it means we are fearful of being separated from God. The best life a person can live on this earth, is to live by God’s Truth.
We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. (1 John 5:20) When we live by the Truth, we will have eternal life in Heaven. The truth comes by obeying the Word, because we will then realize the Word is True, because we are experiencing God’s Truth in our life.
Nothing in this world compares to knowing Christ; not money, not power, and not possesions, only God knows how to bring lasting contentment to every person, and there in nothing in this world that will bring lasting contentment that compares. I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. (Philippians 4:11-12) The apostle Paul experienced contentment because God fed is his soul with lasting contentment, and it was so powerful it overrode what happening to Paul in this world.
The blessings that come from God when we will live by the Truth, are far more powerful than anything from the world. God created us in His image, and he knows how to fill us with lasting blessings.
Today, live by God’s Truth and know that God’s truth can never be changed.
Prayer: Lord guide me to live by the Truth and not by Satan’s lies and deceptions. In Jesus name, Amen
